I bought my first film SLR camera while serving in the military. I took pictures of everything I could and eventually got better putting to film what my eye saw. Fast forward to today when digital cameras became more affordable, I bought a little point and shoot camera and again I shot everything I saw. Thousands of pictures later I started to get the other components of photography to sink in; aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
Today I shoot with a Nikon DSLR and a few different lenses. I really enjoy shooting really wide panoramas. I usually spend my weekends in my Jeep with my family out on some trail in the Owyhee desert.
